Dev Hound is a web based software development tool designed to track information about products being developed and supported. Every element is recorded from project team members, schedules, milestones, bug reports, clients, feature requests and knowledge bases.

The first time you login you may use the username admin and no password. It is important that the password be changed in the admin tab -> my password.

To begin Dev Hound you will first need a user profile. An administrator can add a user profile for you. Once you have a user profile open your web browser and enter your username and password and press Enter.
Once you have logged in there is always a "log out" option available in the top right of the screen. It is important that you log out when you have finished your Dev Hound session to prevent another user accessing your information.

The option Register for an Account allows you to sign up for a Dev Hound account. This option can be turned off in the Admin tab -> Defaults ->Allow new users to sign up.

Once you have logged in you will be greeted with the Home page detailing a personalised list of your issues, support calls, messages and a summary of your work completed and actions available.
