The Messages tab of Dev Hound provides a simple method for sending messages to other Dev Hound users and your clients similarly to email. When you log into Dev Hound you will be notified if you have any new messages.
Your messages appear on your home page as well as the messages tab. Messages can come from three different sources:
Simply click on the messages tab and click on the New button to send a new message. Choose from the drop down list of users and add a subject and message and click send to send the message immediately as shown below:
If you select a client from the clients tab and view their details a button on the toolbar called Send Message will appear if the client has a login username and password to get into Dev Hound. You can click on this button to send a message to the client.

- Automatically from other users adding comments to issues you own
- From clients who have logged into the support call area of Dev Hound

Sending a message to a Client
