Optimizing Connections
You can optimize your connections to other computers for speed by:
- Selecting 4 colour mode in "Preferences"
- Selecting optimize desktop in "Remote Settings"
- Checking the net for regular updates of Fire Walker
When waiting minimise in system tray
When Fire Walker is set into waiting mode the screen disappears and is accessible from the system tray leaving the computer user to go about their normal operations.
Wait for connection on Windows Startup
This option can be useful if you want the computer to be available at all times. When the computer starts Fire Walker will start automatically and wait for a computer to connect.
Optimize Desktop Settings
When you connect to a computer there are a number of factors that slow down performances such as windows wallpaper, window animation and window dragging. This option when turned on optimises desktop settings when the computer is waiting for a connection.
