System Requirements
Dev Hound is web based meaning that there is a server which serves all clients. It is recommended that you set aside a computer which will be the "Dev Hound Server", this machine needs to be turned on (and logged in if not using the service application). The following are system requirements:

About the Web Server
Dev Hound comes with its own Web Server however you can also use IIS or any ISAPI capable web server (eg xitami). Dev Hound's Web Server uses port 80 so it is advisable to have this port free on the PC you decide to use for the web server (ie it isnt already being used by another web server). Dev Hounds web server can be run on a different port number if required.
Server
- Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/2003/Vista/XP or Windows 7
- 32 Meg of Ram minimum
- 200Mhz CPU Speed
- At least 100 Meg of Hard drive space (Dev Hound will use about 5 Meg)
Clients
- A computer with a javascript enabled Web Browser
- Any operating system. Eg Linux, Mac
- Optional: Macromedia Flash Plugin
- Optional: Internet Connection
